Cy/VOS community wiki style guide:
- When heirarchial menus are required for something, do them all in one page with a set of headers instead of defining a bunch of wikiwords and nesting them deeply. It makes it much easier to navigate the wiki this way.
- Place all new content in the User. area (prefix links to them with User/) Content will be rearranged as appropriate by the site moderator. [Telcontar hopes that any interesting articles will be preserved to Archive/ when features make it to Plan/ and the pages are rewritten, to preserve the author's original work.]
- Create a user profile for yourself before posting, and sign your entries.
- Don't be stupid. There's no point in destroying the wiki, or impersonating other users. The wiki format makes it uniquely easy to both destroy and repair.
- Avoid using ! for <h1> tags; pages should not have more than one level 1 heading and this is already reserved by the wiki and is used for the title at the top of pages (the wiki word link). Sections on pages should use headings of level 2 (!!) and lower.
